Do you have any Pepto-Bismol in your house? maybe, there might be a bottle in the cupboard, I am not sure

Do you have a favorite flavor of vodka? no

Is your backyard big enough to fit a trampoline? ...and then some. not really, if there was the slope from the garage down into the little back yard we could.

When was the last time you had eggs? Wednesday - we usually have breakfast for dinner.

How often do you blow dry your hair, and what color is your blow dryer? once or twice a week, a purplish/gray

Have you ever gone to bed later than three AM? No, but there times I wake up at 3, but then can never fall back asleep

Have you been to a surprise party before? yes

What is your least favorite month? January, its way to cold and snowy!

Have you ever gone to see a movie the day it came out? no, too busy/crowded

Do you like movies/books about drugs, and why or why not? movies - I like/dislike how it shows how people wreck their lives and those around them

Do you have scrap paper by your computer desk? always, or sticky notes

Have you ever kept a bag from a store because you liked it? yes

Was the last thing you drank carbonated? a monster drink

Do you own any yellow clothing? there may be some articles of clothing with yellow in it, but a solid piece, no, it doesn't look good on me

1. What's something you've recently accomplished solo? Drove to Alabama by myself.

2. What's one product you use that never ever fails? my crystal light packages

3. Have you found your place in the world? Where is it? I have...my home, its my happy place with my guys!

8. Have you ever been to Disney, any of the parks at all? Are you a Disney superfan or something less than that? They're open right now so tell us, would you go if you had the time/money/a free trip? Been to Disney World 3 times. Not a super fan. Would I go again.. probably not.

9. Your favorite place to go when you want to be quiet as a church mouse? Would those who know you well describe you as more church mouse or perhaps more like mighty mouse? my favorite place to be right now is in my home... and those who know me would say I was more a church mouse

10. Do you bake your own bread? Last time you had hot out-of-the-oven homemade bread? What's your favorite kind of bread? I have made my own bread in the past. We are having some later today as a mater of fact... making some beer bread to go with our soup.

11. What's something you might say is 'the greatest thing since sliced bread'? time with family

12. Share with us five little things you're grateful for today. Small blessings. One catch-they all must start with the letter T. time with family, a table to gather around, tasty treats to share with family, tea to wash down the treat, tastebuds to enjoy the treats.

14. What's on the menu at your house this week? Italian Meatball soup, spaghetti, pork chops, breakfast food, pizza and leftovers

I'm trying to remember if I had mperks (a coupon service through Meijer) that I used when I got groceries this week. I don't use physical coupons much anymore... If I do use them, they are generally on my phone through apps.

1. How often do you make food and eat it? every day

2. Do you consider toasting bread, preparing instant noodles, or boiling an egg to be cooking? Why or why not? yes, because I am making it, so its cooking!

3. What’s your favorite dish to make? lasagna or stuffed shells

4. Cooking or baking: what’s more fun? What’s more difficult? ooo tough one.. I enjoy both. If I have to pick... baking

5. Who did most of the cooking in your house when you were growing up?my mom, until she started working outside the house, then I did most of the cooking

6. How have you learned the cooking skills that you have? some from my mom... most by just doing it

7. Have you ever taken a cooking course? If so, what did you learn? If not, would you like to do one? What would you like to learn? I have not. I would love to take a cooking class

8. Have you tried cooking food from another culture? What did you prepare? How was it? I have not

9. Is it cost-effective to do your own cooking? Can you save money by cooking? Oh by far you can save money by cooking at home. But it is nice to go out once and a while.

10. Would you rather do the cooking or do the washing up afterwards? cooking.... the clean up is such a pain

11. Do you use recipes to cook? If so, where do you get the best recipes? Do you get them from friends, family, online, or from cookbooks? I do use recipes, they are from cookbooks and online

12. Have you ever tried to prepare some food and just totally ruined it? What happened? OH my gosh yes.... I was making homemade sketti sauce years ago (and did so every week, so you would think I knew better).... the hubs went for a taste test to see if it had cooked long enough... and oh it was just so bad..bitter bad... have no clue what I did or forgot to put in it.... so it was "lets just order a pizza" kind of night.

13. Do you prefer cooking at home or eating out at a restaurant? Why? Ooo tough.. I love cooking, but having someone else doing the cooking and clean up after is so nice.

14. Is cooking a social activity for you? Do you like to do it with other people, or do your prefer to do it alone? I prefer to do it alone.... too many cooks in the kitchen..

15. Do you have a lot of cooking equipment? How often do you use it all? Do you have any pieces of equipment that you rarely ever use? I do have a lot.... I use all of them often. I am trying to think if I have anything I rarely use.... I don't think so... maybe the deep fyrer, but I think I gave that to the oldest

1. What is the farthest you have ever traveled? California

2. Who did you date while in high school? Doug

3. What is one of the worst trips you've ever taken? What went wrong? Ohio for a college graduation... they day of graduation, we woke to a huge snowstorm, and knew we were going to miss the ceremony as we had to head back to Michigan, and leave early.... what would have been a 6 hr trip, turned into a 10 hr nightmare.... we ended up staying the night at a friends as my nerves were shot from the drive.... finished the (should have been 1.5 hr) the last leg of the trip home, took us another 3 hrs... so much snow and ice!

4. How do you like to spend a lazy day? in my pj's with a good show to binge on netflix and either a crochet project or cross stitch project and just veg!

5. How old were you when you found out that JFK had been assassinated? How did it affect you? learned about it in high school, and it didn't really affect me

6. Who has been one of the most important people in your life? Judy, a former Pastor

7. What is one trait you would most like to improve in yourself?

8. Did you date someone in college? no

9. What was your dream car? in high school? I always wanted a Mustang

Coronavirus questions






In the past year have you–

1. Gone without a bra (Plastic Mancunian & Bud may skip this one!) yes

2. Skipped making your bed. ha, I have rarely ever made my bed for years.. lol

3. Ordered groceries to be delivered a few times when the weather was bad

4. Cooked a real meal yes, I usually cook most days

5. Spent the day in pajamas? yes!

6. Skipped shaving your legs ha... I don't shave my legs most of the year...lol

7. Spent hours on Instagram or Pinterest but of course!

8. Eaten in a restaurant we have been inside a restaurant a handful of times in the last year

9. Skipped washing your hair. yep... I only wash my hair twice a week on the norm

10. Not folded the laundry well... I tend to let it sit a few days, but it does eventually get folded

11. Worked a puzzle yep, over at the inlaws, the mom inlaw has one going all the time, and its required you put in at least one piece before you leave

12. Had Zoom calls 1 with friends, and then there is the occasional one I will put up the work camera, but generally no, I don't like them

13. Written letters. nope

14. Binge watched a TV show heck, I binged watched shows before this stupid pandemic arrived!

15.Gone barefoot all the time!

1. What is the meaning of Valentine’s Day in your country/area? What happens on this day? While its a Hallmark holiday, I do enjoy it, its all about love, and I intend to celebrate with my guys.... dinner with my love and youngest, and dropping off some cookies to my oldest and his girlfriend.

2. Is Valentine’s Day more for men or women? Explain your answer. for both... its all about love and spending time with those you love.

3. Do you have any special plans for Valentine’s Day? What will you do?church in the morning, then home - dinner in... steak, baked potatoes and a salad... and a dessert if I get one whipped up.

4. Which traditional gift would you rather receive: chocolates, flowers, or a card with a personal message? a card with a personal message... I did receive 2 out of three this year, the hubs brought home flowers and a card on Friday after work

5. Is Valentine’s Day only about romantic love? Or is it a good occasion to celebrate friendship as well? I say just celebrate how ever you want to... all of this annimosity towards others as to how they celebrate really gets on my nerves... you just do you boo!

6. Do you like romantic movies? What is your favorite romantic movie? I do. I love Sweet Home Alabama

7. Have you ever received a Valentine’s Day card or gift from a secret admirer? How did it make you feel? I have not

8. Is Valentine’s Day the most romantic day of the year? If not, what day is? yes/no.... I think our wedding anniversay is the most romantic day of the year!

9. What is the most romantic thing you have done for another person? making a day all about them, and showering them with love

10. Valentine’s Day is promoted by companies whose only interest is making money. Discuss whether you agree or disagree. I don't know how to answer this... with it being a "Hallmark holiday" its all about money.... but its still a fun holiday to shower those you love with all of the fun goodies out there

11. Describe your perfect Valentine’s Day date. just spending the day with my love, throw in a little dinner and maybe a movie to snuggle up to watch together

12. How should a single person spend Valentine’s Day? What do you suggest? just go on with your normal every day thing... if you get so offended by a day then that is on you. Why let something as this get to you so much!

13. Do you enjoy playing cupid? Do you try to introduce people in the hope they will make a love match? nah, people need to find their person on their own

14. Some restaurants charge higher prices on Valentine’s Day. Are you willing to pay more to dine out on this day? not really... we rarely go out to eat on this day, as its usually too crowded, so a nice dinner in is much more enjoyable.

15. Is a romantic gesture more powerful on Valentine’s Day or on another day of the year? no...

It's a sure sign of Spring when the buds start forming on the trees.

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to I am guessing this is supposed to be for Friday.. I had dinner with my best friend, tomorrow my plans include spending the day/night with the hubs, dinner at the Beltline Bar, and the went looking at kayaks and Sunday, I want to go to church in the morning, then home to chill for the rest of the day.!

1. When was the last time you tried something new? A couple of weeks ago I made donuts for the first time.. so easy: Tasty Tuesday ~ Biscuits into Donuts

2. Who do you sometimes compare yourself to? Ladies from my church, and past churches...

3. What’s the most sensible thing you’ve ever heard someone say? Its ok to say no

4. What gets you excited about life? spending time with family and friends

5. What life lesson did you learn the hard way? That the one person you thought would always be there for you no matter what, just wasn't. Being a spiteful person I just can't have that person in my life... family or not... sad

8. Who do you love and what are you doing about it? my hubs, boys, family and close friends.... I tell and show them on the daily

10. What can you do today that you were not capable of a year ago? Be more bold in my beliefs and not care what others think...its time I start stating my opinion and not let others belittle me in my thinking... it gets real tiring being beaten down.. no more of it!

I just learned that March 6 was was National Oreo Cookie day, so in honor, here are some cookie questions





1. Do you eat Oreos? I do

2. If you eat Oreos, which are your favorite – original, double stuff, golden original, golden double stuff, Oreo brownies, Oreo ice cream? the original

3. Do you twist your Oreos apart? Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't

4. Are you able to pass by a plate of cookies and not take one or are you a bit of a 'Cookie Monster'? It all depends on the cookies!

5. Tell us about your favorite cookie. Crunchy, soft, chewy, crumbly, other? Oatmeal Raisin are my all time favorite...

6. Have your tastes changed since you were a kid? nope

7. Enquiring minds want to know if you are a dunker and, if so, do you dunk in milk, coffee, or tea? I am NOT a dunker... I don't like soggy things

8. It is that time of year and they are selling them on every corner and in front of every store! Do you buy Girl Scout cookies and if you do, which is your favorite? I used to, and would get them from my friends kids... but no longer buy... they are too expensive for the amount of cookies you get... the Thin Mints were our favorite ones... . I have since found a dupe to these sold at the Dollar Tree... just as good and way cheaper

9. Raw cookie dough. Yay or Nay? eh... I will nibble a little bit now... in years past I used to love it... the hubs he always has to get his hands in the raw cookie dough!

10. Do you like cookies with filling? depending on the filling

11. Do you prefer organic cookies? no

12. Large cookies, or small cookies? either or

13. Do you like familiar flavours in cookies? yes

14. Do you make your own cookies, or buy them? make them

15. Please tell us something random about your week!! Yesterday was our anniversary....we went to Charley's Crab for dinner (my sister inlaw gave us a gift card she had received that she knew she would never use. The restaurant is a nicer/expensive restaurant, that is not one we would normally go to... but with the GC we thought why not. Never have I ever spent as much on a meal for just the 2 of us as we did...$150 this included that tip....oh my (this was the amount of the GC)! The service wasn't all that great, which was disappointing for this type of restaurant.
