For Today... March 6th, 2017

Outside my window...Its dark, the sun has gone down.

I am thinking... about how tired my hubby is going to be once he gets home from work...just got text saying he was leaving work and its 8:06 pm....he has been gone since 6:30 this morning.

I am thankful... For the jobs we both have....even though his is starting to stress me out...

One of my favorite things... going to the PO box and finding awesome friend mail

I am wearing... black yoga pants and a purple t-shirt

I am creating... I have a few more snails that have been ordered, then it will be back to working on the afghans.

I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening... Watching The Bachelor

I am hoping... That the time off the hubs has requested is approved for next week.

In my kitchen... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ ravioli, salad and garlic bread
Tuesday ~ soup and rolls
Wednesday ~ blueberry pancakes and sauasge or bacon
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ not sure yet
Saturday ~ nacho deluxe
Sunday ~ going out after church

Monday ~ housework, laundry, work on a few craft projects
Tuesday ~ work
Wednesday ~ work
Thursday ~ work
Friday ~ groceries, errands
Saturday ~ craft day at church, to work on things for the ladies tea
Sunday ~ church, out for lunch, then home

For Today... February 27th, 2017

Outside my window...The sun is shining, its 36 degrees right now, and warming up to 47. It may be cold, but the sun is out so that makes me happy!

I am thinking... That I need to get up, and get started on the housework, laundry and make some phone calls.

I am thankful... For the awesome group of Godly women who are in my life!

One of my favorite things... Seeing the Pepperidge Farm Blueberry Swirl bread back in the stores.... Mmmmm

I am wearing... grey yoga pants, and a Detroit Tiger long sleeve t-shirt

I am creating... I am back to working on my and my son's afghan, hoping I finish them soon! I did finish the mermaid tail for my niece.

I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening... Watching The Talking Dead, then Greys.

I am hoping... That we have seen the last of the snowy weather....

In my kitchen... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ spaghetti, salad and garlic bread
Tuesday ~ hamburgs and fries
Wednesday ~ eggs, bacon, toast and oranges
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ Parmesan Herb Baked Mahi Mahi

Outside my window...The sun is shining, and its a brisk 30 degrees out... with a high of 40. I will take it... the sun is shining!!

I am thinking... about where I put my Valentine's table cloth.

I am thankful... for sunny days...its been awhile, so I am going to enjoy today.

I am wearing... a purple top and lavender cords

I am creating... Still working on the afghans, and just started a mermaid tail afghan. I am also working on some snail and teacup amigurumis.

I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening... Watching Chicago Fire, and just started reading Sisterland

In my kitchen... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ baked ziti, garlic bread and a salad
Tuesday ~ Grilled Pork Chops with Apple Slaw, green beans, rolls and cherry bread for dessert
Wednesday ~ french toast, bacon/sausage
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ burritos
Saturday ~ out for dinner, for a birthday dinner for the oldest
Sunday ~ potluck at church

For Today... February 6th, 2017

Outside my window...Its still dark out. It a brisk 19 out, but they say we are to have sunny skies and highs of 40...whoo hoo!

I am thinking... about plans that are in the works to spend a day with my niece who is up from Florida next week.

I am thankful... for time spent with my boys. Our youngest stopped over yesterday to help with some settings on my husbands phone, and then stayed to watch the Super Bowl with us.

One of my favorite things... french toast bagels with brown sugar cream cheese

I am wearing... a hoodie and black fleece comfy pants

I am creating... Still working on the afghans, and just started a mermaid tail afghan. I am also working on some snail and teacup amigurumis. This is one of the snails

And I just finished this Valentine wreath for my front door

I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening... Watching Greys, and just started reading Sisterland

I am hoping... to get our taxes finished and submitted so we can get them back quickly so I can plan a weekend getaway!

Monday ~ spaghetti, garlic bread and a salad
Tuesday ~ honey and pecan glazed mahi mahi, green beans, rice and rolls
Wednesday ~ eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and toast
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ bratts, beans and peaches

Sunday ~ going out for lunch after church, then probably a sandwich or something light later in the evening

For Today... January 16th, 2017>

Outside my window...Its a gray, drizzly, cold day. Its 29 degrees, and rising.

I am thinking... all all I need to do, to get this house back in order. After the last month of being sick, I have neglected the bulk of my heavy, deep cleaning.

I am thankful... for a job that allows me to work at home, so I can avoid the nasty weather we get in the winter months

One of my favorite things... a cup of tea and some quiet time with the Lord

I am wearing... a black zip up fleece jacket, a teal shirt and black fleece comfy pants

I am creating... I am still working on the same afghans, one for my youngest and one for myself. I have a scarf/cowl in the wings just waiting for me to break out a pair of knitting needles. I also want to make a set of hats - mother/daughter/American Girl doll.

I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening to... Watching Chicago Med

I am hoping... that the weather doesn't turn nasty so I can go to the movies with a friend and her daughters tomorrow.

In my kitchen... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ spaghetti, garlic bread and a salad
Tuesday ~ kielbasa and mac-n-cheese
Wednesday ~ apple pancakes and sausage
Thursday ~ homemade taco pizza
Friday ~ vegetable beef soup and rolls

For Today...

Outside my window...We have clear blue skies, and much cooler temps!!

I am thinking... that I have done enough housework for the day...been up since 5:30, so a nice break is in order, and just in time for the premiere of T. D. Jakes new show on ABCI am thankful... for the time I can spend with my husband for us to reconnect.

One of my favorite things... seeing my husband smile while playing the guitar for our Lord.

I am wearing... some gray yoga pants and a teal tshirt.

I am creating... a couple of different afghans, one for Trent, and a beachy colored one for myself. Also making some valances for my office. This is Trent's so far

I am reading (read) /watching (watched) / listening to... Reading: Good Housekeeping magazine. Watching - getting ready to watch TD Jakes new show

I am hoping... to get my valances finished today, so I can complete my office makeover.

I am thinking... that I don't really want to be getting sick...this sore throat can go away.

I am creating... I have finished some towels and dish cloths for the boys, so now I am back working on the hubby's afghan.

I am hoping... that the cough/sore throat drops due the trick and the sore throat is gone in the morning.

Thursday ~ homemade pizza
Friday ~ Slow-Cooker Apple Maple Pork Tenderloin with potatoes and carrots and rolls
