For Today... October 18th, 2021

The weather... Its 43° right now, and the high for today is 66°.

How I am feeling this morning... rested, and pretty darn good for a Monday!

On my mind... how much my mouth/tongue hurts! I bit it over the weekend, and darn it all if it doesn't still smart! Its on the side of the tongue, and it makes eating and drinking a little hard, kinda feels like its a bit swollen. I saw stars when I bit it.

On the breakfast plate... oatmeal and water

On my reading pile... Hooked on You by Kathleen Fuller

On my tv... Shows are back, yay!! 911, Resident, New Amsterdam, The Chicago series Med/Fire/PD, Blue Bloods, LA Brea, Walking Dead The Rookie

On the menu this week
Monday ~ ravioli and garlic bread
Tuesday ~ kielbasa and mac n cheese
Wednesday ~ eggs, sausage and toast
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ leftovers
Saturday ~ ???
Sunday ~ ???

From the camera... my sweetie and I took a road trip to no where in particular, just got out of the house for the day/night

Looking around the house... everything seems to be in its place...for the moment (we weren't around much this weekend)

New recipe I tried last week, or one that we really enjoyed, or one I want to try... Lemon Lush, I have made this in the past, its sooooo yummy!! You can find the recipe here

Something I want to share... a different twist to yarn pumpkins. Find the DIY directions here.

To relax this week, I will... crochet and cross stitch.

On my prayer list... family, friends and our country

Devotional/Bible Verse/Quote...

In closing...Thank you for stopping by. I hope your week ahead is filled with lots of blessings!

  4. Hello lovely Ms Jodi
I hate when I bite my tongue or cheek like that! It hurts so bad, but the worst part is how many times I keep biting it once its swollen. Lol Hope it feels better soon. Love your pics of your impromptu trip. It was about peak here but recent windy day now we've lost lots of leaves. I hate to see them go!
The yarn pumpkins are so cute. like sweaters in pumpkin form. Blessings.
