For Today... Aug 3rd, 2020

The weather... Its 64° right now, and the high for today is 73°... a bit of a break in the heat/humidity.

How I am feeling this morning... tired, I need to start going to bed earlier on Sunday nights!

On my mind... so many things, I wish my mind could just shut off, for at least one day!

On the breakfast plate... bowl of Raisin Bran Crunch

On my reading pile... I finally found this book Right for a Reason by Miriam Weaver and Amy Jo Clark aka Chicks on the Right. I love listening to them either on youtube and on their radio station online. - half way through this, and love it!

On my tv... Heartland and Yellowstone - and Looming Tower on Hulu - just finished this, it was really good!

On the menu this week
Monday ~ lasagna roll ups and garlic bread
Tuesday ~ burgers, fries fruit salad
Wednesday ~ ham and egg brunch braid
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ leftovers
Saturday ~ ??
Sunday ~ ??

From the camera... I love this orange-y coral gladiola, I didn't think these would bloom, as I can never get anything to grow from a bulb in my yard.

the sunset form Saturday night

Looking around the house... I have a few baskets of laundry to fold

Chore I'm not looking forward to today or this week... cleaning the bathroom - the toilet in particular

To relax this week, I will... crochet and cross stitch - I got caught up on the afghan, an on my cross stitch temp tree.

On my prayer list... Our country... all the hate/division that is going around is just horrible!

Devotional/Bible Verse/Quote... I am in need of some beach time

In closing...Thank you for stopping by. I hope your week ahead is filled with lots of blessings!

  1. Oh, I love Raisin Bran Crunch. Oddly, I prefer our store's off brand of that cereal. Beautiful flower! The division and hate is so wearisome isn't it? Hope you have a wonderful week!
