To buy or not

My laptop is giving me fits and I am trying to decide whether or not I want to buy a new on, or just do some upgrades to the one I have. So in all of my research and deciding, I am looking for some deals on laptops.

Do I want to save up, and ask for gift cards so I can use them for a laptop? Of course John is not going for getting a new one, as he thinks he can just fix it. Hmmm..... I have been waiting for him to do this, just like every other thing in this house for him to get to!

Then again, I would like those gift cards, so I can get either a Kindle or a Nook, so I have lots of things to decide on. What's a girl to do?!
