Friday ~ The day started out as usual... groceries, then home to get things ready for what I was hoping to be a beach day in Holland with a few friends. But the weather didn't cooperate (but what else is new!). We still headed to Holland to have lunch with Jennifer, then to do some shopping. Once home, I ordered a pizza, and timed the pick up at the right time, as John got home from work a few minutes after I picked it up. We surfed the tube and lounged around for the night.
Saturday ~ Today was supposed to be a golf experience for me, as he wanted to teach me how to golf, but the weather again, didn't look promising. So we went shopping instead and did things around the house, and wouldn't you know it.... it didn't rain at all... Go figure! We ordered in and hung out at home for the night... John worked on his guitar and I did some knitting, and then a movie on the tube.
Sunday ~ church in the am, then we tried to find a Chinese restaurant for lunch... and everyone we went to was closed for??? remodel?? Hmmmmmmm. We ended up at Texas Roadhouse and walked away stuffed. Then it was home for the usual Sunday afternoon nap.
