Easter oops
This is the first year that I "forgot" to get stuff for Easter to put in baskets. When the boys were younger I tried to go with personalized easter baskets, to their likes. But as the years went on, and they got older, I would just throw in whatever, then finally condensing the baskets to a family basket with a few candies that they like, and lots of jelly beans and peeps.
But this year I zoned out, and forgot. I don't think Trent even realized it, so its all good. He's a little to old for the Easter Bunny don't ya think?

Ya know? I have never done any kind of Easter baskets with my kids. A few times we've filled plastic eggs with candy and had the kids hunt for them, but that's as far as I've gone with 'Easter traditions'.
ReplyDeleteColored eggs with the residents at the retirement center where I work this year, and realized I have never done it with my own kids. *sheepish grin*
Maybe we'll color eggs next year. (When the kids are 16, 14, and almost 12? Hmmmm. Maybe they won't want to! LOL)
