Weekend in Review

Weekend rewind.

Friday ~ no school for Trent, so nice not to have go get up and go out early! We have a lazy day, both of us camped out in our pj's for the day. We watched the opening ceremonies of the Olympics.

Saturday ~ Busy day! Trent had drum lessons, him and John headed out for that. I headed out to the video store, to get a few movies for us to watch for out Valentine's in home date. Next stop, the library. I was going to stop at the store to get a few things, just to kill time before I had to meet up with Robyn to head to a friends baby shower. She called and said to head on over, she was ready. We had to stop to get a few more things for her gift, grabbed some lunch, then off to Kalamazoo for the shower.

Had a great time at the shower. Megan has the cutest baby belly! She has 8 weeks to go... we asked her if she was sure she wasn't having twins!

Finally home, made dinner, (they weren't to hungry as I found out, they went to Cook's - their hang out- for a late lunch). He said they also stopped at the health food store and picked up some more organice apple cider vinegar, as this is the best acne treatments he has found to work yet! We then hung out watching the olympics... our movies were put on hold, as I was just too beat. I ended up in bed before 9.

Sunday ~ Valentine's Day ~ I took a mental health day from church, sent the guys off. I stayed home, picked up the house, made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner; made a batch of banana muffins; took a long, hot leisurely shower. John had to work on his car, as it stalled out on him a few times coming home from church; this had to be done at his parents house, as our garage is now a storage unit. So he and Trent went over there. I had the house to myself for most of the day. So nice. I lounged around either, reading, watching the boob tube or surfing the net.
