Weekend rewind.
Friday ~ Hubby had the day off from work. His day (and most of the night) was spent over at his parents. He went over there to work on a guitar neck, and a workout table he made. He didn't get much done in the 10 plus hours he was over there, but I kinda had a feeling this would be the case. His mom "needed help" in one of her video games. LOL Trent and I hung out at home, doing nothing (my kind of Friday night). After the week I had, from the therapy on my arm, and the attitude of Miss K, I needed a veg out of doing nothing.
Saturday ~ John has a pot luck/band practice for church, so he was gone for the day. Trent and I headed to Share the Warmth with JQ99 to drop off some winter coats. This was at a Bed and Breakfast, that was completely restored. We got a quick tour of the house, signed up for a one night stay, and Trent spun the wheel for Family Reward points. He won his mama 50,000!! Go Trent!!
Then it was off to drum lessons for him. I hung out in the truck, reading book and waiting for Robyn to swing on by. She was picking up some snow pants and a CD of her wedding pics. His lesson was a little longer than usual, I was starting to get antsy, when he finally walks out. His teacher was a little late, so he extended his lesson to make up for it. We went out for lunch at McDonald's, where he was happy that he could tap into the free WiFi on his iPod.
Next up, waited for Darci to show up so we could head to the movies. Trent talked me into letting him go see Avatar while we saw When in Rome. His movie was longer than ours, so I took Darci back to her car, then off to the store to get stuff to make these, then back to the theater to wait for him. He loved his movie, and wants to talk dad into going again, but this time going to the IMAX to see it. When in Rome was a really cute movie as well!
The rest of the night was spent with my hubby.
Sunday ~ Church in the morning, dinner then a nap! Love my Sunday afternoon naps! I made the ooey, gooey caramel chocolate bars; they are ok. I am not a fan of chocolate cake, so I think the next time I make then I am going to use a brownie base instead. John loves them, so he can finish them off! Catching up on some blog work, playing in yoville on facebook, and vegging in front of the boob tube. The best part of today... is knowing that I have tomorrow off!
What did you do this weekend?
