Tuesday 4 Meme ~ Moving

I am happy to see that Annie from Cottage by the Sea is continuing on with the Tuesday 4 that Toni started.

Questions will be up for you here at 9PM on Sunday nights which will give enough time to answer and post on your own blog on Tuesdays.

Welcome to Tuesday 4. I am sure Toni would be so pleased you are here.

Let's talk about moving today.

1. How far away are you from where you grew up? about 25 mins south of my hometown

2. Families sometimes move all over the country. Do you feel that a family should try to stay close together? not really, you have to do what is best for you

3. How many times have you moved in your life and would you like to share when and where you moved? there were a few places I lived when I was really little, before we settled in the house I mainly grew up in, then I moved in my 20's for a brief time with a friend, then back home for a bit, then to may apartment for a few years. Then onto the duplex for a few yrs to the city I am in now, then to our house where we have been for 20ish years.

4. What brought you to where you are living now and are you happy there? Its the spot the hubs and I picked... and not really happy.. I am ready to move out of Michigan to a warmer area in the country... if only I could get him on board!

  2. I live in Ohio and sometimes I think I'd like to move some place warmer, but I'll probably stay in the general area I'm in and just vacation in those warmer climates. lol Hope you have a great day and I enjoyed reading your answers.

  3. I grew up in upstate NY which I'm thinking is similar to Michigan in the winter. I don't think I could contend with those kind of winters any longer! I lived in Florida for many, many years and now in TN.

  4. I can understand wanting to enjoy the climate of your home town,...That is one great thing about living in Virginia. We live enar the mountains and celebrate all 4 seasons! It is lovely!

  5. My parents never moved, so I did a lot when I was in college and right after until I got married. I am glad I did because Karl and I have been in the same place the whole time too. Hahahahaha Loved your answers. Have a nice week.

  6. We don't really get 4 seasons here in So Calif. We have a long summer and that is fine until it hits the 100's! Seems like the past few year have been hot. We have had nice spring weather for over a week now. We will have a few cold days here or there but it should be nice until July. I love the color in here!
