Weekend in Review

I have started a new meme, called Weekend in Review.  I had participated in one like this a while ago, but it has long since stopped.  I liked writing down what I had down over the weekend, whether it was filled with lots activity or just a lazy weekend, so I went ahead and started my own version of this meme.

Friday ~ Grocery shopping in the morning, worked on a video, crocheted for a bit, then headed north to meet up with a friend to attend a memorial. The service was nice. Two other classmates (and a spouse) were there, we didn't stay for the meal afterwards. The 5 of us went out to dinner and to catch up. It was nice seeing Dan and Curt, but wish it were under different circumstances!

Saturday ~ The hubs had to work, so I worked in the craft room for a bit... got a little frustrated at times, but finally got my wreath completed, as well as a hat. Tried out a new recipe for Tasty Tuesday, and it was a horrible fail, which frustrated me more! As I was getting ready to start dinner the youngest stopped over, so caught up with him about his vacation. He stayed for dinner, and he and John put in some speakers in his truck.

Sunday ~ Church in the morning, made a yummy steak dinner, watched the Tigers - yay they won! Took a short nap, worked on my temp afghan and then John and I watched The Highwaymen on Netflix.
