For Today... April 22nd, 2019

The weather...Its 53° and the high for the day of 77° today...its a little cloudy right now, but its looking like its going to be a pretty nice day.


As I look outside my window...day is breaking... and we have green grass again! And it looks like it needs a mowing already!! LOL


On my bedside table... my alarm clock, Kindle, iPad and a journal

On my reading pile... nothing at the moment...

Movies or Shows I watched this weekend... no movies over the weekend - just watched the shows that I DVR's over the week

On my TV... Chicago Series : Med, Fire, PD, Resident, 911, Blue Bloods, New Amsterdam, American Idol (first time in a long time I am continuing on past the auditions)

On the menu for this week... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ sketti, salad, garlic bread
Tuesday ~ burritos
Wednesday ~ breakfast
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ not sure yet
Saturday ~ not sure yet
Sunday ~ not sure yet

In the craft basket... working on a temperature afghan, got the sixteenth completed. Still working on the other afghans (no new pics for these).

Sunday ~ church, boys over for lunch for a Easter redo as they were gone yesterday.. and birthday celebrations

Looking around the house... I can tell I didn't do much this weekend...lots of cleaning needs to happen

  2. Blaine is such a cutie pie... I believe anyone might say this last weekend was a bust when it came to picking up around the house.. I was busy cooking then drained the rest of the time... Not used to that kind of labor!!Whew!!!

  3. Isn't green grass just wonderful to look at. It always makes me want to go roll around in it, then I remember all the pollen and content myself with a barefoot walk across it.

    That dessert looks so yummy.

  4. Looks like spring has finally sprung in your neck of the woods, Jodi! Yeah! Love the colors in your afghan! It won't be long and we'll be getting into the thick of the summer colors as we edge ever closer to the middle of the year alread. Time just flies...doesn't it? And...as for that dessert...I think I need the recipe for the Cannoli Cheese Ball. Yes...I definitely need that recipe! LOL! Have a great week ahead, my friend! Blessings! <3

  7. That afghan is so beautiful! I love how one day you can look out and see long thick grass and think 'That wasn't like that yesterday!' That's how you truly know Spring has sprung. Hope you have a wonderful week.

  9. My husband gets so annoyed when he sees the green grass and notices it needs mowing LOL I don't blame him though because it's 3 acres to mow.

  10. H Jodi! Yay for Spring being sprung! That green grass looks great! It's finally getting green around here too. And today is the first day our bay officially got rid of the rest of the ice and the water is flowing. Loving watching the sun sparkle on the water.
