(my post today is a little pic heavy...)
I am linking up with Diary of a Stay at Home Mom. Head on over to find some other great bloggers.
For Today... Feb 25th, 2019
The weather...Its 13° and the high for the day of 17° today...back to the cold, cold weather
As I look outside my window...its still dark... a little more snow, and you can see in the 2nd pic the snow falling at the top of the pic... brrr
On my bedside table... my alarm clock, Kindle, iPad and a journal
On my reading pile... The Photo Album by Marlene Chase ...its taking me a long time to read this, just can't get into it, but I am determined to finish it. Still struggling with this... I may have to put it aside for now, maybe another day I can pick it up and get into it...sigh
th Movies or Shows I watched this weekend... Saturday we had a movie marathon...both of us were in a lazy mood... we watched Skyscraper, Grand Daddy Daycare, Hunter Killer and Mill 22
On my TV... Bachelor, Chicago Series : Med, Fire, PD, Resident, 911, Blue Bloods, New Amsterdam
On the menu for this week... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ sketti, garlic bread, and a salad
Tuesday ~ Ribs, redskin potatoes, corn and corn bread
Wednesday ~ panckaes and sausage
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ leftovers
Saturday ~ not sure yet
Sunday ~ not sure yet
In the craft basket... working on a temperature afghan, got the eighth week completed - back to a medium blue; I started another granny ripple afghan using Caron Cakes in the Lilac Frosting colorway - just about done with it. I pulled out my glass bowls I picked up last year when the hubs and I were out antique shopping and made some plant arrangements in them... I kill real plants, so fake ones it is!
I have just one more section of the dark purple, brown, tan, cream and a sliver of light purple to do in the color scheme and it will be done... its long and narrow, but its just a lapghan for me to use in my office on the colder days while working.
Happening this week:
Monday ~ work, work out
Tuesday ~ work, work on Bible Study, work out
Wednesday ~ taking a mental health day, and preparing for the floor redo in the craft room
Thursday ~ working in the craft room with the floor redo
Friday ~ groceries, working in the craft room with the floor redo
Saturday ~ working in the craft room with the floor redo
Sunday ~ working in the craft room with the floor redo
Looking around the house... its still clean, after doing a deep clean while Lici was at the vet this past week.
From the camera... My planner layout for the week, a few pics of Lici, and a pic of the donuts I made over the weekend
after she got home from surgery, she camped out on her pillow
the next day she was back to her normal self, stealing moms spot
she wouldn't look at me...
looking at her daddy
donuts
What I'm wearing today... teal shirt and my maccaroon leggings
One of my simple pleasures... a lazy day having a movie marathon with the hubs
A favorite Bible verse, devotion or quote for today...
On my prayer list... for family, friends and our country
In closing...Thank you for stopping by. I hope your week ahead is filled with lots of blessings!

ReplyDeleteThanks! Lici is our spoiled baby girl!
DeleteWow! You really get a lot of snow - UGH! We had the high winds too here in PA! Your afghans are beautiful - what a talent!

Have a cozy evening, my friend.
It was a nice, relaxing Saturday!! All the while snuggled under one of the many afghans I have made!
DeleteThe snow looks very cold. I like your floral arrangements in the glass bowl. Glad Lici recovered well from her surgery & is back home with you. Hope you have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteVery cold!! The plants add a nice touch to the decor!!
DeleteMovie marathon kind of a Saturday sounds perfect. ;) And I'm just so amazed with your talent Lady! The afghans are awesome. I am determined to learn crochet in the future, but i have too many scrapbooking projects to catch up on first.
ReplyDeleteYOur furry baby is SO cute! And wishing you best of luck with floor redo. Take before pics! Hope you'll share.
Blessings on your week xoxo
Thanks!! I love looking and working on the next afghan! I haven't scrapbooked in so long, I need to get back into it! I will be doing before and after pics of the room!
Deleteoooh the pup... She's so huggable. Love when they cross their legs. Now, the bachelor... oy vey. He's a hot mess isn't he? I really feel there should be a pre bachelor show, where they go to therapy, then the show. He has no idea... telling 4 women he's falling in love with them. Asking four fathers for their blessings. shakes head... he'll probably pick the one who says she's just not that sure of him. LeeAnna
ReplyDeleteShe is such a fun pup!! The Bachelor... oh boy... I was thinking the same thing.. dude you don't tell all 4 of them that you are falling in love with them.. it shall be interesting for sure!
DeleteI'm running behind this week, Jodi, but here I am! The temperature afghan is coming along nicely and the lapghan will be lovely on chilly days. I love the tea and doughnut pic! Makes me want to go make a batch of homemade doughnuts like my mama used to make! Yum! :) Hope you're week is going well! Blessings, my friend! <3
