Weekend in Review

I have started a new meme, called Weekend in Review.  I had participated in one like this a while ago, but it has long since stopped.  I liked writing down what I had down over the weekend, whether it was filled with lots activity or just a lazy weekend, so I went ahead and started my own version of this meme.

Friday ~ The morning started off snowy. As I was heading out the door I pulled the string to the light on the ceiling fan in the kitchen, when bam...one of the fan blades snapped off (the fan was not on). It scared the bejesus out of me! The trek to the grocery store was a slow going one...what normally is a 5 minute drive took over 20 minutes. Got everything needed, then back out into the cold to head home, still a slow, long ride home.

No venturing back out for me! I continued on with the cleaning/purging/organizing of the home. Today was tackling the desk and filing cabinets. Lots of junk was thrown out and things put in their rightful place. Now to make sure the hubs keeps it neat and tidy!! (no before or after pics...forgot)

Saturday ~ Up early, let Lici out, which was a do your biz fast and back in for her.. it was bitter cold out! Then off to figure out whats going on with my laptop... the keyboard is acting possessed.... still unsure whats going on... so doing postt his is making my job so much harder now! Grrrr.

My plans for the day have been cancelled by the host as the weather is not being nice. So instead I am went with the hubs when he gets his hair. We grabbed a bite to eat, picked up a few things at Meijer, then headed back home. I made a batch of Chocolate Chip Pudding Cookies for a Tasty Tuesday Video. Vegged for the remainder of the day/night

Sunday ~ Church in the morning, stopped as Jimmy Johns for subs, then off to a baby shower for me. Later in the evening we had our Mens/Women's Bible study. Once we were finally home I worked on my temperature afghan and got my three rows in. It was a busy, but fun day spent with family and friends.
