Temperature Afghan 2019

So I am jumping on the bandwagon of doing a temperature afghan for this year. I don't want to commit to doing 365 rows as I know I will struggle doing a row a day, so I have decided to do my charting of temps for Sunday's only, and plan on doing 3 rows per Sunday using a granny ripple stitch.

I chained 216 (not 218 showing in the photo below), and will be using an H hook. My finished afghan will be a throw, and once completed will post the final measurement.

My temp color chart and the skeins I picked up from Joann's and then a snippet of where I will be logging my temps.

Today's temp at noon was 37°, so out came the Turqua color and the first 3 rows have been completed.

I am excited to see how this afghan evolves!! Happy stitching!

  1. This looks like fun! Did you get the temperature chart and the pattern at Jo-Ann's too?
