Weekend in Review

I have started a new meme, called Weekend in Review.  I had participated in one like this a while ago, but it has long since stopped.  I liked writing down what I had down over the weekend, whether it was filled with lots activity or just a lazy weekend, so I went ahead and started my own version of this meme.

Friday ~ Celebrated our 22nd wedding anniversary - the hubs had to work, so I went on with my normal Friday routine, groceries in the morning, ran a few errands, and then met a friend for lunch, to discuss/make plans to do a class reunion. Once back home, worked on a video, then made dinner - steak, baked tater, salad and a dessert, that didn't really turn out well (the dessert that is), then just hung out with the hubs.

Saturday ~ Anniversary getaway with the hubs. We had no specific destination in mind, just jumped in the car and took off. Our usual anniversary thing to do is to go antiquing... and thats what we did. We ended up in Mishawaka and South Bend, Indiana. We got a hotel for the night in South Bend, and not thinking that it was St. Patty's day and being so close to Norte Dame - the fighting Irish, boy oh boy was it busy down there! We had fun none the less. Had dinner at Outback, then back to the hotel to veg.

Sunday ~ Day 2 of anniversary weekend. Breakfast at IHOP, then off to hit 3 more shops on the way home. We had a great weekend away. Now for all the goodies I got...lots of cute Easter related items (not antiques, but thrifty kind of items!)
