Vacation

Last week was a much needed vacation! We had a great time in New York, despite the heat! The 9/11 Memorial was my favorite part of the trip. The feeling inside the church where all of the emergency workers went for rest, was overwhelming. With it being as close to the towers I am still surprised that it wasn't destroyed as well. They are rebuilding the towers.

We witnessed a robbery in progress; some guy tried to steal something from a clothing store, Century 21, and was chased down the street by several men in black coats, they all reminded me of the Secret Service; black coats, ear pieces. They got the guy and brought him back in.





We rode the subway all the days we were in New York, went uptown, downtown, into Brooklyn to Coney Island. Our stops were Times Square, Empire State Building, Central Park, Coney Island, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

All in all it was a great vacation! I am glad to be home, and am in a much needed vacation from my vacation!
