I am trying out a new recipe today for my party tonight. I am hoping it turns out. It doesn't really look like what I thought it would, or what I remember from when my aunt made it.
Raspberry Dessert
Crust:
2 1/4 cups crushed pretzels
3 tsp sugar
3/4 cup margarine (I used 1 stick)
Place in 9 x 13 pan, and bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup of sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
Beat the cream cheese until fluffy, add the sugar and beat until well mixed. Fold in the cool whip. Pour over cooled crust.
Jello topping:
2 - 3 oz. packages of Jello (raspberry)
12 oz frozen raspberries.
Dissolve the jello in 2 cups boiling water. Add the frozen raspberries, still until well mixed. Then pour over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate.
