Thirteen things I would like for Mother's Day
1. A Nook Color
2. A case for the nook
3. Lilac bush
4. A Kitchenaid Mixer ~ and a purple one at that!
5. A new camera and/or lens
6. A new laptop
7. A nice home cooked meal... or at least a dinner out to MY favorite restaurant.... I DON'T want to cook and clean up after church!
8. A day to myself so I can go to a spa and get a head to toe royal treatment!
9. A family/mother's ring
10. A trip to Hawaii
11. A dozen purple roses
12. A camper
13. Breakfast in bed

1- not to have to remind Matthew he's been in the shower long enough; 2- not to have to remind Joshua to unload the dishwasher; 3- not to have to ask if the dog has been fed; 4- not to have to pick up trash from the floor; 5- not to have to tell anyone to take care of their dishes; 6- not to see cereal sitting on the counter, long after breakfast is over; 7- someone else to make dinner; 8- someone else to make next week's menu and grocery list; 9- a car ride with my kids in which we play MY music; 10- a nap; 11- a back rub; 12- time to read a book (oh! need a book, too!); and 13- warm sunshine.
That trip to Hawaii would be great, too, but I'm trying to keep my wishes in the budget. *wink*

ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Karen there....I would have been happier to start the day over and not have to do 4 loads of laundry fix a huge dinner and do 3 sets of dishes etc!UGH and the sun was so nice and how I dreamed of laying in it:(
Alot of these are on my "wish list for someday". I did get a single red rose (it smells so yummy!) I had a nice relaxing day though.
