Redoing the landscaping

I am wanting to redo the front landscaping, as the bushes, that took me 13 years to grow to the size I want, are leaving an unpleasant odor. Let's just say the odor is driving my cat insane! I don't need her to make a mess of my living room. So the bushes are going to be pulled up and new ones are going in. I have seen these really petty purple flowering bushes in a few yards that I want. So the hunt is on!

Yesterday I was in Menards and saw the cutest fountain with a gnome that I want! I just need to talk my hubby into letting me spend the chuck of change that they are asking for it! Along with this fountain I want one of those home address signs to place next to it. I am not sure what else I want to put up front, but I do want a little border of that white fencing.

As for the back yard, I need to dig up one of my rose bushes and transplant it, as it really needs to have a trellis, and the area I have this just isn't feesible. So in that place will go another rose bush (or at least I hope so!) I am going to be my money's worth out of my Mother's Day present this year!
