I didn't know what to think when I first started reading this book. It seemed like it was going to be more of a "darker" kind of book than I am used to reading. I felt bad for all the things Crockett had to go through while trying to help out his student. All the talk about demons was a turn off for me, as I don't really believe in all that. But the speculation about the Catholic church had me intrigued and makes me wonder if it really has any truth to hidden cover ups.
