Friday ~ Started the long holiday weekend. John had the day off (machine problems at work). Trent was over at grandmas, so John and I went out for breakfast, then headed off to Holland to browse the antique shops (one of our favorite past times). I found a gorgeous roll top desk I would *love* to have, but the price tag was a shocker... $1500, not in this lifetime! Our big spending item.... $8 for the "Electronic Monopoly" game.
We then headed back to GR, only to find out we had lost power for while. While at home it went out again. I was hoping it wouldn't be for long, as I had just gotten groceries earlier in the day and the fridge/freezer was completely stocked.
Then we were off to the inlaws to visit and pick up Trent.
Saturday ~ Trent had drums, so that's there they went and I headed off to the farmer's market. The rest of the day was spent baking, reading and napping. Not much got done around the house. Oh, we did play the monopoly game for a little while.
Sunday ~ church in the am. John went over to his parents to help his dad with his car and to work on a guitar. T and I stayed home, he played on the computer and watched TV, while I napped and worked on my blogs.

I swear, the power has a way of going out just when you've stocked up on cold/frozen food! Sounds like a really nice weekend!!!
