Uglydolls movie

I am partnering up with Gracehill Media with the upcoming film Uglydolls that will be out in theaters this Friday, May 3rd. I had just did a post on facebook that I am going to share here as well.

I’ve hated this woman. I’ve not loved her at full capacity. I’ve fed her lies & told her she wasn’t good enough and have allowed others to tell her she wasn't good enough. I’ve allowed her to be broken. I've allowed others to treat her disrespectfully. I’ve allowed her to run through brick walls & battle for others who won’t even stand for her. I couldn’t stop individuals from abandoning her, yet I’ve seen her get up and stand to be a light to the world & love others despite it all. I have stood paralyzed by fear while she fought battles in her mind, heart and soul.

This woman has screwed up many times, as a wife, a daughter, mom, or friend, because she doesn’t always say or do the "right things". She has a smart mouth, and she has secrets. She has scars... because she has a history. Some people love this woman, some like her, and some people don't care for her at all.

She has done good in her life. She has done bad in her life. She goes days without makeup, or shaving her legs sometimes. She doesn’t get dressed up half the time. She is random and sometimes silly. She will not pretend to be someone she is not. She is who she is.

Every mistake, failure, trial, disappointment, success, joy, and achievement has made her the woman she is today.

You can love her or not. But if she loves you, she will do it with her whole heart, and she will make no apologies for the way she is.

This Woman is a WARRIOR. She’s not perfect but my God is she WORTHY! She’s UNSTOPPABLE. Gracefully broken but beautifully standing. She is loved. She is life. She is transformation. She is Grace. She is BRAVE!

Synopsis:

In the adorably different town of Uglyville, weird is celebrated, strange is special and beauty is embraced as more than simply meets the eye. Here, the free-spirited Moxy and her UglyDoll friends live every day in a whirlwind of bliss, letting their freak flags fly in a celebration of life and its endless possibilities. The endearingly unique residents of Uglyville occasionally look to the sky above the town, where a new UglyDoll will appear and be embraced by the community.

Moxy (Kelly Clarkson) loves her square-peg life in this round-hole town, but her curiosity about all things leads her to wonder if there’s something – anything – on the other side of the mountain which nestles Uglyville. Moxy gathers a group of her closest friends and sets off to find what’s on the othper side. They discover another world – Perfection – a town where more conventional dolls are trained in protocols before they graduate and are sent to the “real” world to find the love of a child.

In Perfection, Moxy and her crew are subject to the manipulations of Lou (Nick Jonas), the perfect doll in charge of training recruits. Here, the UglyDolls will confront what it means to be different, struggle with their desire to be loved, and ultimately discover that you don’t have to be perfect to be amazing because who you truly are is what matters most. UGLYDOLLS releases in theaters this Friday, May, 3.

What's your favorite sports movie?

Do you have a favorite sports movie? Mine is Remember the Titans. Not only does it have my all time favorite actor in it, but it has a great message. Now my husband, he is all about the Rocky movies and is really looking forward to watch Creed II that comes out November 21st. We of course will wait a few weeks to go see it, so its not so crowded.

About The Movie (Synopsis)

Life has become a balancing act for Adonis Creed. Between personal obligations and training for his next big fight, he is up against the challenge of his life. Facing an opponent with ties to his family's past only intensifies his impending battle in the ring. Rocky Balboa is there by his side through it all and, together, Rocky and Adonis will confront their shared legacy, question what's worth fighting for, and discover that nothing's more important than family. Creed II is about going back to basics to rediscover what made you a champion in the first place, and remembering that, no matter where you go, you can't escape your history. The film releases in theaters on Wednesday, November 21. #CreedII

Disney's ~ “Nutcracker and the Four Realms”

Can't wait to see this movie. It will be on my list to do once I get back from Florida.

ABOUT THE MOVIE:
All Clara (Mackenzie Foy) wants is a key – a one-of-a-kind key that will unlock a box that holds a priceless gift. A golden thread, presented to her at godfather Drosselmeyer’s (Morgan Freeman) annual holiday party, leads her to the coveted key—which promptly disappears into a strange and mysterious parallel world. It’s there that Clara encounters a soldier named Phillip (Jayden Fowora-Knight), a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger (Helen Mirren), to retrieve Clara’s key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world. Starring Keira Knightley as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Disney’s new holiday feature film “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” is directed by Lasse Hallström and Joe Johnston, and inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann’s classic tale.

Opens in U.S. theaters on Nov. 2, 2018.

Dog Days

I never used to be a dog person, I am more a cat person, but since we got Lici 5 years ago, she has brought me over to the dog side.

She has brought much love, and hyperness into our family. There is never a dull moment with her around. I love how excited she gets when we get back home, whether I was gone 10 mins or a longer time, she is just as excited.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie when it comes out on August 8th. Comment below what your favorite breed of dog is for a chance to win a gift card from either Pet Co or Target. I will draw a winner on Friday August 10th.

SYNOPSIS:
DOG DAYS is a hilarious and heartfelt ensemble comedy that follows the lives of multiple dog owners and their beloved fluffy pals. When these human and canine’s paths start to intertwine, their lives begin changing in ways they never expected. This is a sweet film about the joy our furry friends bring into our lives and what they can teach us about treating people with kindness and compassion.

DOG DAYS releases in theaters in August 8.

How do you keep the spark alive in your relationship?

Synopsis: Forever My Girl tells the story of music super-star Liam Page (Alex Roe) who left his bride, Josie (Jessica Rothe), at the altar choosing fame and fortune instead. However, Liam never got over Josie, his one true love, nor did he ever forget his Southern roots in the small community where he was born and raised. When he unexpectedly returns to his hometown for the funeral of his high school best friend, Liam is suddenly faced with the consequences of all that he left behind. Forever My Girl is an uplifting romantic film about second chances. It releases in theaters on January 19.

I am looking forward to seeing this movie with my guy. We have been together for 27 years, and married for 21 almost 22 years. Our relationship all started from a picture I saw of him while going through my cousin's pictures of her sons first birthday. She set us up and the rest is history. Who knew that just seeing a picture could change your life?

A few things you can do to keep that spark alive

1. Flirt ~ remember when you were in high school and you would flirt with that guy you had a crush on... well we can still do this with our spouse.

2. Date night - at home ~ this is one of my favorite things to do. Plan out the meal, pick up a movie or two, and then shut off the phones and just enjoy the night at home.

3. Try something new together ~ find a new hobby that neither of you have done before and give it a try.

4. Love notes ~ surprise him with a love note, tucked away in his lunch box that he will find once he gets to work. Or send a text just to say Hi.

5. Pretty yourself up ~ lets face it we all get in that comfortable/frumpy mode all to often. Spruce yourself up before he gets home just because!

Check out the trailer of Forever My Girl. Then be sure to go see if in the theaters January 19, 2018!

Now I am off to go pretty myself up for my guy!
