So now let's get on with the HHM post!
I am linking up with Diary of a Stay at Home Mom. Head on over to find some other great bloggers.
For Today... July 29th, 2019
The weather...Its 73°.... And the high of 77° for today...and rain later today
As I look outside my window...The sky is full of clouds and you can see the pink tinge of the sunrise
On my bedside table... my alarm clock, Kindle, iPad and a journal
On my reading pile... Never Play Dead by Tomi Lahren - I love her boldness.
Movies or Shows I watched this weekend... Netflix - Beneath the Leaves and Backdraft 2.... and on the tv with the hubs we watched Medallion with Jackie Chan
On my TV... Bacherlorette, Handmaid's Tail, Yellowstone, Big Brother
On the menu for this week...
Monday ~ sketti, garlic knots and a salad
Tuesday ~ hamburgs, fries and baked beans
Wednesday ~ breakfast
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ fish, rice, corn
Saturday ~ not sure yet, maybe out for dinner
Sunday ~ pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn
In the craft basket... working on a temperature afghan, week 30 of 52 completed -still in the gold. Still working on the snowflake cross stitch, making progress
This is the other half, the border is just about finished
Happening this week:
Monday ~ work, work out (arm day)
Tuesday ~ work, work out (leg day)
Wednesday ~ work, work out (arm day)
Thursday ~ housework, craft day
Friday ~ groceries, errands, maybe a lunch date with a friend
Saturday ~ not sure yet
Sunday ~ church, and not sure what else
Looking around the house... I did lots of straightening up last night, so its looking pretty good in here!
From the camera... I visited with my sister inlaw, and her grandson, my great nephew, was there. He's getting so big!
I framed my Love is Books cross stitch, and have it now displayed.... it turned out just as I had it pictured in my head! I love it!!!
My Lici girl... .she wore herself out chasing a bunny in the backyard (this was last week.. not today after her incident with the skunk.... )
I snapped this of the hubs and Lici... this was after we got home from his eye appt... it was not a good news day concerning his eye... so sitting and petting the pup makes you feel a little better
What I'm wearing today... green tshirt and black leggings
One of my simple pleasures... enjoying a ice cream cone after a long hot walk with the pup
A favorite Bible verse, devotion or quote for today...
On my prayer list... My husband. We were hoping for better news at the eye doctor this past week, only to hear that the swelling is back in the eye, and there is now a slight occlusion starting in his right eye as well.
In closing...Thank you for stopping by. I hope your week ahead is filled with lots of blessings!

I love the temperature afghan! I'm trying to motivate to do some embroidery on a gift. And then I've had a cross stitch for like a year that I'm just not getting out and working on!

ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry your day started out so badly. I fear that day. We live in the country and I worry that one day our dog will tangle with one. I love the cross stitch! It looks great next to the flowers. Have a great week!
