Happy Homemaker Monday

Happy Monday everyone.... I missed a whole week of blogging.... had a rough start to the week, but after releasing it all to God, I am in a much better place that I have been in such a very long time! I hope you all have a great week! Now on to the Monday post:

For Today... June 10th, 2019

The weather...Its 64° and the high for the day of 67° today...and a cloudy start for the day

As I look outside my window...leftover rain from yesterday... I am ready for the sunny skies to be back!


On my bedside table... my alarm clock, Kindle, iPad and a journal

On my reading pile... nothing at the moment...

Movies or Shows I watched this weekend... on Netflix.... started the 3rd season on Riverdale

On my TV... Trading Spaces, Wife Swap, Pure, Call the Midwife Bacherlorette, Handmaid's Tail

On the menu for this week...
Monday ~ sketti, salad, garlic bread
Tuesday ~ burritos
Wednesday ~ breakfast
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ fish, rice, corn
Saturday ~ not sure yet
Sunday ~ not sure yet - grilling something for Father's Day

In the craft basket... working on a temperature afghan, got the 23rd week completed. Started a new cross stitch - Firework Lane. I picked up these book folding art books and did the heart and flower, just need to finish up the Mickey Mouse one. I am kinda hooked, and purchased a book on Amazon to give a try and others that I have to do the actual measuring of where to fold, as to how these few have the lines where you fold to...

Monday ~ work, work out
Tuesday ~ work, work on Bible Study, work out
Wednesday ~ work, work on Bible Study, work out
Thursday ~ craft day, errands
Friday ~ groceries, errands
Saturday ~ work out, and the rest is up in the air
Sunday ~ church, Father's Day, grilling out

Looking around the house... I see baskets of laundry that needs folding

From the camera... the hubs and I at the gym

What I'm wearing today... still in my pj's... will be changing into some black yoga pants and a tank top onmy first break

One of my simple pleasures... a quiet afternoon spent in the craft room (even if I got a little frustrated)

A favorite Bible verse, devotion or quote for today...


On my prayer list... family, friends and our country

    Im proud of you for going to gym to work out... We had gym membership and hardly ever went

    LOVE your inspiration for the week - great advice. I also LOVE your weather compared to ours! The book folding looks interesting. I hope you enjoy it, but I know I don't have the patience for it. Glad things are better - have a GREAT week.

    You've already done the book folding thing?? I love it! My daughter has been asking to watch Riverdale. Maybe we'll do that together this summer. :)

    I am so sorry to hear you have had such a rough week! I pry this week will truly be much better! I am right there with you about a simple peasure! I love to be in my craft room even if it does make me a little crazy sometimes lol!
