I did a thing

So I did a thing today. Yesterday I went and looked at a truck, and talked with the dealer and was up front with them in how things were with me and what I wanted to try an accopmplish. Test drove a Toyota Tacoma. Totally loved it! Nervous as all get out though while driving it. Told them I had to talk things over with the hubs and would be back.

So today I went and did my normal Friday morning errands, you know grocery shop, took the dog for a walk. Had to stop at the eye doc and pick up my new glasses then off to the car dealership. We got things rolling. I wanted to do this all on my own, and was so hoping that all would work out. Left there, had to go to the insurance agency to get things set up there. First time at the new agent, as my old one retired. Was surprised that the rate didn't go up to drastically. Then went home to wait for the call from the sales guy.

Around 1:30 he calls and says, "Are you sitting down?".... my heart dropped I just knew he was going to say I needed a cosigner, and that would mean it would put off getting the new truck one more day as I knew the hubs would be working late with this being the holiday weekend. I said, "Yes...". He says, "Its yours!!" whew! I said, "Yay, when can I come get it?" We set up the time for 3.

So I am now the proud new over of a 2019 Toyota Tacoma. I can't wait to load up the kayak (the main reason I wanted a truck), and hit the rivers this summer!!
