For Today... July 10th, 2017
The weather...Its 69° right now and a high of 76°! Its going to be a rainy day today. Right now lots of thunder, so I now have a pup shaking at my side. Its going to be a long day!
Right now I am... working on this blog post and watching Big Brother
On my reading pile... Etched...Upon My Heart by Jill Kelly (almost finished with this one); Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld; and Happily Ever After by Trista Sutter
Movies or Shows I watched this weekend... No Escape on Netflix
On my TV... Heartland, Fear the Walking, Talking Dead is on the DVR - and Bachelorette and Big Brother is on the tube for the week
On the menu for this week... Menu for the week:
Monday ~ pork chops, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans and rolls
Tuesday ~ hamburgs and fries
Wednesday ~ ham and egg brunch braid
Thursday ~ pizza
Friday ~ deluxe nachos
Saturday ~ not sure yet
Sunday ~ out for the hubs birthday and to kick start our vacation
On my to do list... laundry, housework, make dog food, work on the afghan
In the craft basket...Working on the backing for the afghan, I started on the fabric and messed up and had to go back and get more fabric, I am so irritated with myself. Now it will be crunch time to get it finished by Saturday for the shower. The other afghan I started last week is finished, but can't share the final product, as I am not sure if she reads my blog. I also whipped out a few other items to go with the afghan.
Happening this week:
Monday ~ housework, laundry, making dog food, croche/sewt, work out
Tuesday ~ work, work out
Wednesday ~ work, work out
Thursday ~ work, work out
Friday ~ groceries, errands, nails done (didn't go last week, work out
Saturday ~ work on planner, baby shower
Sunday ~ vacation starts - its a staycation, with maybe a day trip here or there
Looking around the house... It looks pretty good around the house, so that is a bonus, as I have to work on the afghan today

What I'm wearing today... still in my pj's, but will be changing into a pair of shorts and a tank top
One of my simple pleasures... a nice relaxing evening sitting on the deck with the hubs
On my prayer list... for a friend and her husband - they just received some upsetting news

Sorry about the thunder, our pups were not fans either. Fortunately (unfortunately) at this age Gunner is deaf so last night's storm went unnoticed by him.

Thunderstorms must be in the air everywhere, we've had them nonstop for the last few weeks here in Ontario. But our humidity is sky high right now too... hope your pup feels better soon!

My Marley is not a fan of thunderstorms, it seems the bigger the dog the more scared they are as my pugs never even flinched hahah
