The weather...Its 42° and still dark out. Its going to be a sunny day with a high of 72°!
Right now I am... working on this blog post while waiting to change out the first load of laundry
On my reading pile... Still the same from previous weeks - I need to up my reading time: Reshaping it All by Candace Cameron Bure (rereading this); Etched...Upon My Heart by Jill Kelly; Sisterland by Curtis Sittenfeld; and Happily Ever After by Trista Sutter
Movies or Shows I watched this weekend... I watched a Lifetime movie, I think it was called The Perfect Stalker??
On my TV... I have The Sons on DVR to watch
Something fun to share...This past week I found out that I am going to be a Great Aunt, not only once but twice. First my nephew/niece on my husband's side announced that they were expecting and due in Sept. They just yesterday my brother called me and asked me if I could crochet him a hedgehog baby hat. I said I probably could, it didn't sink in right away, he says do you know why I am asking you this. I figured they wanted it for a friend, until the light bulb went off and I said... no way you are going to be a grandpa?? My niece is expecting and due in Dec. Guess another trip to Floirda is in my future this Winter!!

Monday ~ tortellini, salad and garlic bread
Tuesday ~ burgers, pears and fries
Wednesday ~ omelets, sausage, toast and orange slices

Saturday ~ not sure yet
Sunday ~ possibly going out after church
On my to do list... laundry, housework, make dog food, go on a walk with the pup
In the craft basket...back to working on my sons afghan, and then there is one ready to be started for a new baby that will be in the family this Fall!! And yet another item for another new baby due in Dec

The boys were over yesterday, for dinner to celebrate Trent's birthday. My oldest did the grilling, to give me the day off from cooking. We had steak, red skin potatoes, green bean casserole, salad and rolls. It was a yummy dinner!
What I'm wearing today... still in my pjs, but will be changing into some yoga pants and a purple top in a little while
One of my simple pleasures... getting the day off from cooking while having one of my boys do it for me
On my prayer list... a friend and her housing situation, and for job peace for my husband
