Is it or isn't it?

Its been awhile since I browsed babycenter.com, but was bored the other night so I logged on and came across a thread with a list of names for babies. Someone threw out there scott kay ring. I had to laugh, as why would a parent give a boy a girls middle name. I guess I wasn't the only one who thought this, as others posted about it, and they said that Kay was a man's name first. Really? Once I get some more free time, I am going to google it to see if indeed back in the day it was a man's name.
