I have been waiting for the end of January to get here for so very long, so I could upgrade my phone and the discount, to free price through Verizon. I hashed things out for a while trying to decide if I wanted to go with a phone with a data plan, or just stick with the basic. Do I need internet on my phone? Not really. Sure it would be fun to have it at my finger tips while I am out and about, but then again, it would just be a distraction from what I would be out doing.
I looked at
blackberry curve 8520 phone, drooled over the fact that the iPhone was coming to Verizon, checked out the smart phones, but went with the Samsung Intensity II.
Its blue, so wish it was purple, but I can live with it for now. I am still searching online for something in purple. The texting set up is different from my old phone, which I don't care for, but will get used to it somehow.
