Spoiled kitty?

I have one spoiled kitty. I know she won't use this, but I want to make it for her anyways. LOL

Super Plush Pet Afghan
Knitting Needles - Size 10
GAUGE: 9 stitches + 17 rows = 4 inches (10 cm) in stockinette stitch (knit on right side, purl on wrong side). BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

STITCH EXPLANATION:

This afghan is knit in stockinette stitch with a border of 5 stitches of garter stitch on the outside edges to keep the afghan from rolling up.

NOTE: SPECIAL CARE INSTRUCTIONS FOR VELVETSPUN YARN
To maintain full plushness, a knot should be tied at the beginning of each skein and at both ends when joining yarn. Handle the yarn gently and do not unravel or re-use. A minimal amount of shedding is normal with this yarn.
